Learn how to achieve mermaid waves at home with these simple steps! Keep your mermaid tresses healthy with regular trims (approximately every six weeks). See it all come together in the video below, then follow our step by step guide.

Step 1: Towel dry freshly shampooed hoar, you don't have to dry your hair completely as we need a little water to work with.

STEP 2: Apply JUSTICE Professional Sea Salt Spray all over your damp hair.

STEP 4: Using your wide-toothed comb, divide your hair into a 'hot cross bun' section (i.e. 4 equal sections).

STEP 5: Comb your first section of hair together and style it into a tight plait. Repeat this step for all 4 sections. 

STEP 6: Twist each plait into a bun shape on top of your head and secure in place with a hairband or some bun pins. Repeat this for all 4 plaits and you should end up with 4 buns on top of your head.

STEP 7: Leave your 4 plaited buns to dry completely.

STEP 8: Take out the buns and gently unravel the plaits with your fingers.

STEP 9: Once again, grab your wide-toothed comb and gently brush your hair into the desired look.
